Hi, I was curious if there are people who are here who may have previous struggled with "excessive shopping" for one reason or another? If yes, what have you done to regulate yourself and your habits to get on track with financial goals with regards to this?

My issue has been recovering from covid, then car accident, house fire etc - I am a student with literally no other income other than my loans. I am looking for a part time job or freelance work; however, I am struggling schedule wise (last semester towards my Bachelor), mentally and physically to hold or get a job that suits my current situation.

I have significantly reduced my spending and am starting to donate and sell some of the products, clothing etc that I own.

I would absolutely love to hear about your strategies, struggles, tips, etc that you may think would relate to this.

Please no judgement. Thank you.

I have tried EI and disability aids - I do not qualify at this time mostly due to my student loans. I thought I'd add that also. Thank you.
